OVERVIEW
Give hope to students with disabilities to continue schooling.

Our SAWL members, partners and friends, including Minister Indranee Rajah, Ms Rani Singam, and Lee Ci En, came together and lent their voices to help raise funds for the SAWL Scholarship Fund! The music video is a beautiful rendition of Charlie Lim's "Room at the Table" which aptly appeals to everyone for more graciousness and inclusivity in our society.

Through this Fund, we not only assist students with disabilities on their educational needs, we hope to bring them one step closer to achieving their dreams and aspirations. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we have received 90% more applications for the Fund and we hope to be able to extend our support to more beneficiaries.
Local context
The Singapore Association Of Women Lawyers (SAWL) is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for students with disabilities. Through its SAWL Scholarship Fund, SAWL supports learners with disabilities in meeting their educational needs, helping them take one step closer to realizing their goals and aspirations. In support of the Fund, SAWL members, partners, and friends—including public figures such as Minister Indranee Rajah, Ms Rani Singam, and Lee Ci En—have come together to help raise funds. Their efforts include a music video featuring a rendition of Charlie Lim’s “Room at the Table,” a message that resonates with themes of graciousness and inclusivity in the community. SAWL has also reported a significant increase in scholarship applications during the COVID-19 pandemic, with 90% more applications received, and the organization continues working to extend support to more beneficiaries. For Tucson, Arizona residents looking for community-minded non-profit involvement connected to scholarship and inclusive education, SAWL represents a mission-focused effort centered on hope, support, and opportunity for students with disabilities.
